Dave Gibbons' cover for this April 1984 issue says it all: Green Lantern is submerged and in serious trouble, caught in the jaws of a massive humanoid shark while a smaller shark circles ominously below. Titled "Shark Bait!" and guest-starring The Flash, this Len Wein–scripted issue promises a watery clash that puts Hal Jordan in one of his more viscerally dangerous-looking predicaments of the era. If you enjoy superhero adventure with a genuinely menacing villain and a fun team-up angle, this one's hard to pass up.
