Green Lantern #131

Against a backdrop of cascading binary code, the cover of Green Lantern #131 (December 2000) throws readers straight into the action — Kyle Rayner, in full GL uniform, is being brutally seized by a massive armored mechanical figure, a green-gauntleted grip crushing against his head while the taunting cover line "Manhandled Lately?" hangs in the air. Cover pencils by Darryl Banks and inks by Andy Smith give the confrontation a kinetic, almost claustrophobic energy that makes the threat feel genuinely overwhelming. With Judd Winick scripting and Banks on interior art as well, this is a solid chapter in the series' early 2000s run that promises Kyle facing serious adversity before the final page.
