Having used the power of the Godstorm to defeat Koyos the mad Guardian, John is confronted by a physical manifestation of the Source, who tells John that he has evolved beyond his previous existence. John, now calling himself the Emerald Knight, uses his new power to re-generate power rings for 600 of the powerless Lanterns allowing the Corps to be reborn, while other former Green Lanterns face a new life.
