“Quiver Chapter One: The Queen Is Dead (Long Live the Queen)”
About this Collection

This collection kicks off the 2003 Green Arrow series with the fan-favorite 'Quiver' storyline, written by Kevin Smith. It follows Oliver Queen's return from the dead and his struggle to reclaim his life as Star City's archer, featuring art by Phil Hester and Ande Parks. The volume collects issues #1-10 of the series.

Green Arrow #1 (2003) launches with a sharp, suspenseful twist: after teaming up with Aquaman to take down Black Manta, Green Arrow finds himself at the JLA satellite—only to realize something’s off. Writer Kevin Smith and artist Phil Hester craft a tense, character-driven mystery as Ollie’s suspicions grow over shifting League dynamics, culminating in a shocking moment when Batman knocks him out for verification. Cover by Matt Wagner captures the unease perfectly, setting the stage for a story where loyalty is tested and nothing is as it seems.
