Ghost Rider: Resurrected #[nn]
☆ Be the first to review + Add to your collection — Join freeThis trade paperback collects the 1991 Ghost Rider: Resurrected miniseries, which reintroduced the Danny Ketch incarnation of the Spirit of Vengeance to Marvel's lineup. The story follows Danny and his sister Barbara as they contend with supernatural threats like Deathwatch and Blackout, while also crossing paths with the Punisher and the X-Men. It serves as a key bridge between the original Johnny Blaze era and the darker, '90s direction of the Ghost Rider mythos.
"Life's Blood" kicks off a fiery chapter in Ghost Rider: Resurrected #nn (1991), a standout issue where Dan’s Halloween night visit to Houdini’s grave turns deadly when he stumbles into a clash between Deathwatch’s assassins and Kingpin’s enforcers. With his sister Barb wounded, Dan discovers a motorcycle with a pulsing gas cap that ignites his transformation into Ghost Rider—just as a stolen briefcase falls into the hands of a local gang. Written by Howard Mackie and brought to life by Javier Saltares, with inks by Mark Texeira, colors by Gregory Wright, and letters by Michael Heisler, the issue’s cover by Mark Texeira and Jimmy Palmiotti captures the moment’s raw intensity.
