About this Collection

This volume kicks off the 2007 Ghost Rider series, collecting the first six issues. It follows Johnny Blaze as he returns to the role of the Spirit of Vengeance, battling demonic forces while grappling with his cursed existence. The story introduces a new threat and features a guest appearance by Doctor Strange, setting the stage for a darker, more supernatural direction for the character.

In "Vicious Cycle Part One," Johnny Blaze, the Ghost Rider, faces the terrifying consequence of his past when the Devil himself is unleashed upon Earth—something he inadvertently set in motion. With Dr. Strange urging him to stop, Johnny must confront the dangerous path ahead, even as the stakes grow darker and the cost of redemption becomes unclear. Written by Daniel Way and illustrated by Javier Saltares, with colors by Dan Brown and inks by Mark Texeira, this issue features a striking cover by Marc Silvestri and Joe Weems.
