Ghost Manor #5
☆ Be the first to review + Add to your collection — Join freeCharlton's Ghost Manor #5 (June 1972) dares you to step inside, and Steve Ditko's cover makes the invitation genuinely unsettling — a lone figure in purple descends a cobweb-draped staircase into eerie yellow-green depths, while an enormous pair of disembodied hands grip the dungeon door on either side, as if something vast is holding it open just for you. The banner promises "The Last Garland," an epic tale of the unburied dead lurking in the dungeons beneath an ancient castle. With Joe Gill writing and Ditko handling both story art and lettering alongside Charlotte Jetter, this 20-cent horror anthology delivers that particular Charlton chill in compact, atmospheric style.
