☆ Be the first to review + Add to your collection — Join freeThis volume collects issues from the ongoing G.I. JOE: A Real American Hero series, continuing the storyline where Cobra unleashes a devastating new threat. The Cobra's Venom arc sees the team facing escalating dangers as old enemies resurface and alliances are tested. IDW's run maintains the classic action and character dynamics of the original Marvel series.
In "The Cobra's Venom Part 1," the Joes escort the injured Sightline back to the Pit, where his leg is amputated—only for the grateful Doctor Mindbender to secretly send a prosthetic leg in return. Meanwhile, Cover Girl leads a rescue mission in Shazidar to free UN relief workers from the Green Morning, while Destro’s sudden assault on Revanche throws the Blue Ninjas into chaos. Written by Larry Hama and illustrated by Rön Jöseph, with inks by Brian Shearer and colors by James Brown, this issue blends high-stakes action with quiet moments of loyalty. The cover by John Royle captures the tension of the moment.
