G.I. Joe: A Real American Hero #21
In "Special Missions Part One: Stalker," G.I. Joe: A Real American Hero #21 delivers a tense, high-stakes opener set in the desert sands of Trucial Abysmia and Benzheen. As Destro showcases MARS' advanced tech to the wary Sheik Ali, a surprise assault tests the region's defenses—leading to a dramatic rescue by Destro and the Baroness. With the story written by Larry Hama and illustrated by Netho Diaz, the issue builds intrigue through shifting loyalties and hidden agendas, all rendered in sharp detail by the team of inkers Alisson Rodrigues and Jagdish Kumar, and colored by James Brown. The cover by John Royle and Jagdish Kumar captures the moment’s intensity, setting the stage for a mission where trust is as fragile as the desert terrain.
