G.I. Joe #9

Oct 2013 · IDW · 3.99 USD

In G.I. Joe #9 (2013), the team fractures into three urgent missions as chaos unfolds across multiple fronts. While Tunnel Rat, Cover Girl, and Roadblock race after a subway bomber, Shipwreck, Duke, and Quick Kick go after the arms-dealing Zandar and Zanara, and Doc hunts a hidden biochemical threat. When Duke is summoned by Destro to eliminate Monk—only to be intercepted by Scarlett—the mission takes a sudden, unexpected turn, with Monk transforming Destro into the Commander and Doc uncovering a bomb on Aisha. Written by Fred Van Lente and illustrated by Steve Kurth, with inks by Allen Martinez, colors by Joana Lafuente, and letters by Shawn Lee, the cover by Steve Kurth and Allen Martinez captures the tension in a single, striking moment.
