The issue begins with a flashback to when Monk and Duke first met. Tunnel Rat and Roadblock stop a terrorist with a bomb, only to find out the bomb was fake. Quick Kick discovers the weapons Zandar and Zanara were selling were useless. The Commander confronts Destro about his betrayal of Monk to Duke. Monk and Duke fight, then are interrupted when the Special Missions team attacks. Monk escapes and meets up with his wife and daughter. Doc pushed her and Aisha into the river, neutralizing the bacterial bomb. Duke relocates his wife to New Mexico.
