The bold headline "Beware the Executioner!" makes clear that this green-uniformed villain is the threat at the center of the story. Robert Kanigher's WWII anthology remains one of DC's most compelling war titles, and this striking issue, featuring the beloved Haunted Tank, is a fine example of why.
