Schiff's Shoes presents Freddy #6, a cheerful 1960 Blue Bird Comics offering from Charlton where our red-jacketed hero strides down the sidewalk clutching a four-leaf clover and declaring his good luck — blissfully unaware that an express car is bearing down on him, a wildcat is prowling at his heels, and a startled woman is tumbling backward through a doorway behind him. Jon D'Agostino's cover art captures that delightful teen-comedy chaos with crisp, lively linework and a great sense of comedic timing. Rounding out the cover are five circular vignettes spotlighting the issue's bonus features — Black Fury, Six Gun Heroes, Timmy the Timid Ghost, Li'l Genius, and the Masked Raider — making this a genuinely fun package for a dime.
