This Charlton teen-humor gem from July 1961 captures Freddy mid-mischief, blowing his trumpet and filling the air with soap bubbles while an exasperated conductor demands he stop clowning and play the song — a conductor who looks none too amused and is clearly losing the battle. Jon D'Agostino's cover art perfectly telegraphs the cheerful chaos, with a crowd of Freddy's pals grinning from the title banner above, all seemingly in on the joke. At a still-10-cent price point, this is a fun snapshot of early-'60s teen comedy comics at their most lighthearted.
