Frankenstein Mobster #4

Mark Wheatley's Frankenstein Mobster keeps delivering its monster-noir blend with issue #4, subtitled "Creep Joint!" Cover artist Scott Morse renders a tense scene dominated by a blue-tinted, broad-shouldered figure clutching a revolver, surrounded by a vivid cast of green-skinned and otherworldly characters — including a wild-haired woman and a helmet-wearing figure lurking in the background. It's a wonderfully strange gathering that captures exactly the pulpy, creature-feature-meets-organized-crime energy this Image series does so well.
