Mark Wheatley — handling every creative duty from writing to colors — brings a kinetic, almost cinematic energy to this third installment, subtitled "The Payoff!" with a handful of menacing figures lurking in the shadows below. It's gangster horror at its most stylish, and that cover alone makes a compelling case for what's inside.
