Scott Morse is an American animator, filmmaker, and comic book artist and writer, best known for his 1997 epic series *Soulwind*, a story serialized across a sequence of graphic novels that earned nominations for both the Eisner and Ignatz Awards. Born in the United States, Morse began his comics career in the early 1990s, working steadily as an artist, colorist, inker, letterer, and writer on over 60 issues across a range of publishers. Much of his published work consists of stand-alone graphic novels, though he has also contributed to established franchises, including *Elektra: Glimpse & Echo* and *Catwoman*. His signature style blends a bold, expressive line with cinematic storytelling, often exploring genre and fantasy themes. Among his notable co-creations is the all-ages series *Magic Pickle*, which he wrote and illustrated. Morse has also worked extensively in animation and filmmaking, lending a distinct visual sensibility to his comics. Later in his career, he continued to produce creator-owned projects such as *Volcanic Revolver* and *Strange Science Fantasy*, maintaining a presence in the industry through 2021. His work has been recognized with major award nominations, solidifying his reputation as a versatile storyteller across multiple media.
