With the boys’ help, Oswald gets his chance to pitch for the team, but soon the truth begins to unravel: the witch’s magic may be threatening the very game they love.

In "The Trembling Trestle," a frantic race against time begins when beavers undermine a railroad trestle, threatening the next train’s passage. Oswald, determined to warn the stationmaster, finds his car stolen by a pair of hillbillies—leaving him stranded in their decrepit jalopy, engine sputtering and brakes failing.

In "Supercharged," Jo and his friends find their new synthetic pants sparking trouble—literally. As the friction of their fluff-tailed trousers builds up static electricity, their tails begin to store power, leading to unexpected and increasingly wild side effects.
