“Escape To Justice”

Dell's Four Color #971 brings the beloved TV western Wagon Train to the comics page, with a photo cover that captures stars Ward Bond and Robert Horton crouched behind wooden cover, rifles and revolvers at the ready — tension written plainly across both their faces. It's a wonderfully atmospheric snapshot of frontier adventure, priced at just a dime in 1959. Fans of the show will find this a satisfying companion piece to the episode experience, headlining the story "Escape To Justice.
