Dell's Four Color #758 brings Walt Disney's Bear Country — billed as "A True-Life Adventure Feature" — to the comics page in fine 1956 style. Taylor Oughton's cover painting is a beautifully rendered portrait of a large black bear perched commandingly in the bare branches of a tree, with misty mountain peaks and evergreen forest stretching out beneath a warm autumn sky. The cover's own tagline says it perfectly: "A wild and rugged land, but a realm of easy living for Nature's seemingly favored creature, the great bear.
