Dell's Four Color #747 brings Walt Disney's beloved Goofy to the farm in this charming 1956 one-shot. Paul Murry's cover captures Goofy — red-aproned and seated on a hay bale — holding out a frying pan with a single egg in it, while a plump brown hen perches on a fence post and eyes the situation with apparent suspicion. It's a perfectly silly standoff that sets a warm, lighthearted tone for the interior adventure, "The Great Conductor," illustrated throughout by Bill Wright.
