Four Color #744

Beside him, a smiling younger figure in traditional dress watches the scene with obvious delight. It's a warm, vibrant snapshot of the Little Beaver series at its most spirited, rendered in the rich photorealistic style that made Dell's painted covers so appealing throughout the 1950s.

When Little Beaver interrupts a council meeting while practicing his sheep stalking in a sheepskin, he is punished by having to guard the tribe's sheep while the rest go to a sing on Spirit Mountain. When the tribe is gone, two sheep rustlers tie up Little Beaver and steal the sheep with wagons.
