Crusader Rabbit and Rags are made honorary leprechauns. All the leprechauns have to hide the pots of gold that follow them. Rags drops his pot down a hole that is the home of Garfield Groundhog. Garfield goes on a spending spree that sets off a gold rush. To help settle the damage, Crusader and Rags must go to Ireland and get fast-growing hollow oak acorns from Finn McCool, the forty-foot giant.
