“Escape Chute”

In "Escape Chute," the Queen of Slobberoovia bestows a magic sword upon the King, setting off a dangerous game of deception when the Duke of Balford is challenged to a duel. M'sieur Poosycat, ever scheming, crafts a duplicate sword and swaps it before the fight, then offers the fake to the Duke in a bid to claim the throne. Harvey Eisenberg handles both the interior art and the cover, bringing the whimsical intrigue of this 1956 Four Color adventure to life in crisp, expressive lines.
