“The Enchanted Head”

In "The Enchanted Head," a fairy's prophecy sets a woodsman's son on a fateful path, destined to wed the King's daughter despite the monarch's cruel attempts to end his life. With fate ever at his side, the boy survives each peril—only to face his greatest trial yet: retrieving three golden hairs from the legendary Giant King’s head before the wedding can be blessed. George Kerr brings the tale to life with expressive art, while Walt Kelly’s striking cover captures the story’s magical tension.
