“The Butterfly Catcher”

In "The Butterfly Catcher," Oswald and Toby tumble into a mysterious realm after falling down a mountain hole, where they’re swiftly imprisoned for plucking the final flower in a kingdom ruled by a whimsical curse. The Merry Witch challenges them to survive a night without laughter, setting off a surreal adventure in a land where even the smallest joy could break the spell. Written by John Stanley and illustrated by Lloyd White, with a cover by Dan Gormley, this 1945 Four Color comic blends whimsy and wonder in a tale that’s as clever as it is charming.
