“A Message To Santa”

In "A Message To Santa," two Martian children, Tam and Teena, arrive on Earth in a flying saucer during the holiday season, awestruck by the joy and generosity they witness. Drawn by the spirit of Christmas, they meet Santa Claus, who suggests they create their own Martian Santa—complete with a borrowed red suit—so the holiday cheer can spread across their home planet. The story, illustrated with warm charm by Dan Gormley, features a whimsical cover by Mel Crawford, capturing the festive spirit of a 1955 classic.

Tam and Teena, two Martian children, come to Earth in a flying saucer and observe Christmas celebrations, and they wish that Martian people were as happy and friendly as Earth people seem to be. They meet Santa Claus, who tells them they should appoint their own Santa on Mars, since he has too much work to do on Earth, even providing them with one of his red suits for their Santa to wear.
