Four Color #561
☆ Be the first to review + Add to your collection — Join freeDell's Four Color series brings together two beloved UPA cartoon stars in this cheerful 1954 ten-cent treat. The cover says it all about poor Mr. Magoo's famously faulty vision — squinting contentedly, he waters what he clearly believes to be a potted plant (visible in the background with its blue and purple tulips) but is actually a multi-armed floor lamp, sending water splashing everywhere. It's a perfectly charming snapshot of the gentle, good-natured chaos that made the nearsighted Mr. Magoo such an endearing figure, and fans of him and Gerald McBoing Boing will find plenty to smile about inside.
