“Tripped at Tennis”

In "Tripped at Tennis," a 1953 Four Color comic, Andy finds himself in a whirlwind of mishaps after accidentally setting his mother’s dress in motion while trying to stop his rolling car. With the dress flapping behind him, he makes a wild dash through town and ducks into the Academy of Dance—only to stumble into a ballet recital and an unexpected showdown with two crooks. Penciled and inked by Al Hubbard, the story blends slapstick chaos with a surprising twist, all rendered in the crisp, expressive style that defined the era.
