“Bugs Bunny, Sheik for a Day”

In "Bugs Bunny, Sheik for a Day," the lovable rabbit stumbles into a wild mix-up when he boards the wrong plane and winds up in Memphis, Egypt—much to his confusion and delight. Mistaken for a royal chosen to be "Sheik for a Day," Bugs is whisked to a palace where he's expected to feed a crocodile, but he has other plans. With a clever twist and a magic bottle that grants wishes, Bugs turns the tables in true cartoon fashion. Tony Strobl handles the art, inks, and lettering, while Ralph Heimdahl's cover captures the zany adventure in full color.

Bugs boards the wrong plane and ends up in Memphis, Egypt instead of Memphis, Tennessee. A servant of the Grand Mufto of Memphis fools him into thinking he has been chosen "Sheik for a Day" in order to get him to the palace, where they plan on feeding him to the royal crocodile. Bugs finds a more suitable diet for the crocodile and is rewarded with the gift of a magic bottle, complete with an imp who can grant wishes.
