“Underwater Birthday Party”

In "Underwater Birthday Party," Pinocchio’s long-held dream takes a surreal turn when the Wishing Star Fairy grants his wish to become a real boy—only to find himself swept into a whirlwind of mischief and danger. Tricked by the scheming J. Worthington Foulfellow and Gideon, Pinocchio is drawn into Stromboli’s puppet show, then lured to Pleasure Island, where boys are transformed into donkeys. With Jiminy Cricket’s help, Pinocchio escapes just in time, only to face his greatest trial yet: rescuing Geppetto from the belly of Monstro the whale. Tony Pabian’s expressive art brings this classic tale to life, while Carl Buettner’s vibrant cover captures the whimsy and peril of the journey.
