“Double Trouble”

In "Double Trouble," Tom kicks Jerry and Tuffy out of the house, only for the duo to sneak back in through the attic—where they stumble upon a mysterious movie projector and a reel of film showing a Tom and Jerry cartoon. Using the projector, Jerry and Tuffy trick Tom into thinking they’ve become ghosts, turning his own cartoon into a haunting illusion. Written by Jack Cosgriff and illustrated by Harvey Eisenberg, this 1948 Four Color adventure blends classic mischief with a clever cinematic twist, all on a cover by Harvey Eisenberg.
