Four Color #183
☆ Be the first to review + Add to your collection — Join freeThis cheerful 1948 Dell issue features Walter Lantz's Oswald the Rabbit front and center, dressed in his signature blue overalls and bold yellow bow tie, looking thoroughly overwhelmed as a cascade of small white bunnies tumbles around him — with even more popping out of a tipped green hat nearby. Fluffy yellow chicks join the delightful chaos, fluttering and scurrying across the vibrant red cover rendered by Dan Gormley. It's a wonderfully lively snapshot of Oswald's good-natured world, and at a dime a copy, this was pure springtime fun for young readers of the era.
