Little Jack Horner puts in an order for a pie at the Pieman's shop, where he meets Simple Simon. The two boys talk to Humpty Dumpty, but the egg falls off a window sill and cracks his head. Jack and Simon run off to get Jack and Jill to do repair work on Humpty, but find they are out of brown paper and vinegar--the materials they used to heal Jack when he fell down the hill. The Pieman comes to the rescue with a sticky pie that holds Humpty's head together.
