Henry Morgan, son of an English nobleman, is sold into slavery by the Spanish. He is purchased by the daughter of the Viceroy of Panama, but is charged with becoming romantically involved with her and is sentenced to be a galley slave. After a mutiny, the slaves become pirates, with Morgan their leader. Morgan and other pirates join forces to attack the city of Panama.
