In "The Freeze Breeze," a wayward bird stumbles upon Chilly’s frozen geyser garden, mistaking the icy landscape for a tropical paradise. His constant complaints about the lack of palm trees and warm breezes push Chilly to his icy limits.

In "The Troublesome Twosome," Ping and Pong enlist their friend Chilly in a series of playful ruses to keep him from growing bored at the rescue station—each one a lighthearted scheme designed to make him feel needed, even if the "emergencies" are entirely imagined.

In "Rescue Revenge," Chilly the penguin finds himself in a sticky situation when he’s forced to knock out a panicked swimmer to save him—only to be threatened with revenge by the very person he rescued. When the Fat Fist gang later robs the bank, Chilly must step in again, this time to protect the same man who now wants him punished.
