Curly Joe answers a question on the phone from a TV quiz show and wins a car and trailer and half-interest in a gold mine in Alaska. The Stooges go to Alaska, where they help a pretty girl get her money back from the crook who sold her the other half-interest in the Stooges' mine. Despite being told the mine is worthless, the Stooges go to investigate and find their mine is occupied by a bear. Giving up any idea of mining, the Stooges enter a mountain-climbing contest to earn money to pay their way home.
