In "The Vanishing Gems," Jungle Jim follows a trail of wreckage to a crashed plane deep in the jungle, where he meets the Rajah of Bruntpur—a man with a secret tied to a cursed vault. When Jim and his companion Kolu visit the Rajah’s palace, they learn of a yearly ritual: the Ghost of Kuran Das steals part of the treasure, leaving only mystery in its wake. The real danger begins when Jim decides to confront the legend head-on, stepping into the vault to uncover the truth.

In "The Cursed One," Jo and her cub face down a wounded man-eating tiger that’s claimed their kill, then outwit a village hunt meant to trap the beast. With the tiger cornered and desperate, it flees to the same ravine ledge where Jo and her cub wait—leading to a dramatic showdown that ends in the tiger’s downfall.

In "The Mugger of Am Ghat," Jungle Jim and his companion Kolu stumble upon a ritual sacrifice on a crumbling bridge, where a goat is thrown to a massive crocodile below. When the bridge collapses and one of the girls is swept into the river, Jim intervenes—only to be arrested by the Rajah for desecrating a sacred creature. As Kolu arrives to free him, both are imprisoned, but a mysterious girl from the ceremony soon slips into their cell with a secret passage.
