In "Short Cut," Wile E. Coyote takes a detour on his way to Grandma Road Runner's house, where he’s supposed to deliver a basket of goodies for his mother, Mrs. Beep Beep. With a playful nod to the classic Red Riding Hood tale, he finds himself in a familiar chase, though the outcome is anything but predictable. Illustrated by Phil De Lara in both art and inks, and featuring a cover also by De Lara, this 1959 Four Color comic delivers a lighthearted, clever twist on a timeless story.
