The penultimate chapter of DC's Forever Evil event arrives with one of its most harrowing covers: a battered, bloodied figure bound tightly in thick cables, head bowed and face streaked with blood — and the cover tagline "Nightwing's Last Stand!" leaves little doubt about whose fate hangs in the balance. David Finch and Richard Friend render the image with raw, unflinching detail that makes the stakes feel genuinely dire as the seven-issue series barrels toward its conclusion. Geoff Johns's "The Power of Mazahs!" promises that issue six of seven is no place for the faint of heart.
