Deathstorm is the twisted Earth-3 counterpart to Firestorm and a member of the Crime Syndicate, hailing from a reality where heroes are villains. This malevolent fusion-being possesses nuclear-based powers turned toward destruction rather than heroism.

Emerging from the darkest corners of DC's Modern Age, Deathstorm made a striking entrance in 2013's Batman / Superman #3.1, conjured by the creative team of Greg Pak and Brett Booth.
