This is an anthology issue containing two stories. "Forbidden Worlds" presents "The Gift from Beyond," in which a carnival mirror mysteriously transforms people into their reflections. "The Stone Goddess" follows Kurt Holloway, a notorious heartbreaker, who encounters a stone goddess in the jungle and becomes entangled with a magical being that grants him an elixir promising superhuman strength, though his friend Fenway's concoction leads to unexpected and comedic consequences when tested.
