An anthology of supernatural and adventure tales. "Mystery of the Sea" opens the issue, depicting a sailor discovering a mysterious relic aboard a ship that has been sealed for three centuries. A subsequent story follows Hank, a young man who dreams of becoming a pilot; after receiving a ruby from a mysterious source, he becomes obsessed with it and eventually pursues his aviation ambitions, attending flight school and undergoing military testing to become an experimental test pilot for the Air Force. Additional stories feature adventure and suspense elements typical of the horror-comics genre of the 1950s.
