Flash & Green Lantern: The Brave and the Bold #3

Midway through this six-part DC miniseries pairing two of the Justice League's finest, issue #3 drops readers into a wonderfully chaotic scene at somewhere called "Raznak Park" — a strange, fiery alien landscape that's anything but a relaxing day out. Barry Kitson's cover captures the Flash launching himself through the air while Green Lantern is tumbled backward in his lawn chair, a red-costumed woman readies herself for a fight, and something distinctly monstrous lurks at the edge of the chaos. With Mark Waid and Tom Peyer co-writing "A World of Hurt," this creative team clearly has a knack for mixing the fun and the frantic in equal measure.
