In "Disparus à jamais!", a crew of sailors stumbles upon the legendary Flying Dutchman, drawn by the promise of its buried gold. When they ignore the ghostly crew's desperate warnings and seize the treasure, they are cursed to join the ship's spectral ranks—only the one who refused the gold remains untouched, left to witness the horror they’ve unleashed.

In "On ne peut toucher le fond!", a curious scientist becomes obsessed with a mysterious jacket whose bottomless right pocket seems to pull in anything placed inside. As he experiments with increasingly strange objects—from notes to personal belongings—he grows desperate to uncover the secret of the pocket’s endless depth, until he makes a fateful decision that leads him into the unknown. When the jacket is discovered the next day, the pocket has been altered in a way that suggests the void has finally been sealed.
