Crypt of Shadows #10

In "The Man in the Tank!" from Crypt of Shadows #10 (1974), a desperate man takes refuge in a sealed water tank during a tense, isolated moment—only to find himself trapped as the train’s routine water refill drains the tank, leaving him stranded in rising darkness. With no way out and time running short, his struggle for survival becomes a chilling race against the slow, inevitable pull of the water.

In "You Can't Touch Bottom," a curious scientist becomes obsessed with a strange jacket whose bottomless right pocket seems to pull in anything placed inside. As he experiments with increasingly bizarre items—ranging from notes to his own belongings—he grows desperate to uncover the mystery of the dimension beyond the fabric. When he finally risks his own head to peer inside, he vanishes completely. The next day, the pocket is found with a bottom sewn in, as if the void had finally been sealed.

In "A Scream in the Dark!" from *Crypt of Shadows #10* (1974), a couple steps through the final turn of the tunnel of love only to find themselves suddenly aged and alone in an empty fairground. As they scramble back the way they came, they emerge at the front gate—still alive, still real—but now burdened with years they never lived.
