Fantastic Four #515

All four members of Marvel's First Family are pushed to their limits on Gene Ha's cover for this 2004 installment of Fantastic Four. Sue Storm dominates the foreground in full uniform, her expression tense, while a blazing inferno fills the sky behind her — the Human Torch a luminous silhouette diving through the flames — and the rocky forms of two Thing figures loom at the bottom as Mr. Fantastic reaches into the scene from the edge. Writer duo Mark Waid and Karl Kesel, with interior art by Paco Medina and Juan Vlasco, keep the "Dysfunctional" arc rolling in part two of three, and that title feels entirely apt given the barely-contained chaos on display.
