The story title "Behold! A Distant Star!" promises the FF are a very long way from home, and the cover's purple-and-green alien landscape makes good on that promise immediately. Stan Lee and Kirby were firing on all cylinders in 1965, and this issue's cover alone captures why Marvel's flagship title earned its bold claim of being "The World's Greatest Comic Magazine.
