Fantastic Four #28
In "We Have to Fight the X-Men!", the Fantastic Four find themselves caught in a twisted game when the Puppet Master manipulates Professor X into summoning the X-Men—though the telepath is unaware he's being controlled. With the Mad Thinker pulling strings and an android sent to finish off both teams, the battle lines blur as heroes are forced to fight allies they can’t see. Written by Stan Lee and drawn with dynamic energy by Jack Kirby, with inks by Chic Stone and lettering by Art Simek, this 1964 classic features cover art by Jack Kirby and Sol Brodsky.
