In "The Great Fables Crossover, Part 5 of 9: Ch-Ch-Changes," Jo and the Page Sisters join forces with Bigby to confront Kevin Thorn, who's on the verge of rewriting reality—but not before Kevin taunts Bigby at every turn, even as the other Literals offer him wildly inconsistent guidance.

In "The Great Fables Crossover, Part 6 of 9: Keep Your Ass in Your Chair," Kevin finds himself caught between two unlikely mentors—Old Sam and Hansel—each offering wildly different advice on how to overcome his Writer's Block, until their counsel leads to a pair of unexpected moves that push the situation beyond control.

In "The Great Fables Crossover, Part 8 of 9: Genre Fiction Is Dead," the Genres clash with a united front of the Page Sisters, Snow, Bigby, Revise, and Gary, as Kevin closes in on Old Sam with a threat of punishment for his defiance—just as Jack Frost makes his dramatic entrance.

In the final chapter of the epic crossover, Jack Frost and Deus Ex Machina guide Kevin and the other Literals toward a blank, infinite void—where Kevin must forge a new universe from nothing, leaving the old one behind. With the weight of creation on his shoulders, the fate of all stories hangs in the balance.
